Book Famine

I am going through a book famine. I just can't seem to find a good book to read. I'll check out something from the library that sounds intriguing, only to read a few pages and have it sit on my shelf. So I am calling on you all to give me some suggestions of good books to read. Fiction or non-fiction, just lay it on me. I miss reading!

I keep telling you to read Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell. Or you could read Uncle Tom's Cabin.

i've read good books this year. they are all listed on my blog. in fact i have a whole favorites list that you could choose from and the list of books i read last year. i always write a review of the books, and you and i are alike in the way we feel about books, so... that is my suggestion to you. if i hear of a good one, i'll pass it along! of course, shannon hale is coming out with TWO new ones this year. i've already got the first one on reserve at the library and the second one i'm preordering from amazon. anyway... i've talked too much on your blog lately. :S
